Ancient bacteria found in cave resistant to 10 types of antibiotics
The bacteria in question were found in a cave in the Apuseni mountains in Romania and seem to be about 5000 years old. One possible explanation is that they had been exposed to a compound very like our modern antibiotics. Intriguing though, for a blog of our nature.
